An arrest warrant for Lindsay Lohan has been issued after the actress failed a drugs test.
Lohan could go to jail again if it turns out she has broken the rules of her probation.
Unfortunately, this looks like a distinct possibility after the Mean Girls star Tweeted last week:
“Regrettably, I did in fact fail my most recent drug test.”
According to TMZ, Lindsay’s arrest warrant was issued after she failed tests for cocaine and amphetamines.
Lohan was jailed for two weeks this year after breaking her probation when she was convicted in 2007 for driving under the influence of drugs.
The judge had threatened her with 30 days in jail for each violation of her probation.
The arrest warrant against Lohan is a bench warrant, meaning that she will only be arrested if she fails to attend court on Friday. It will then be up to the judge whether she goes back to jail or completes another stint in rehab.
Lohan is at least trying to appear serious about ditching her partying ways, saying: “Substance abuse is a disease, which unfortunately doesn’t go away overnight.”
