Elizabeth Hurley has been granted a quickie divorce from Indian textile heir Arun Nayar today after four years of marriage.

District Judge Penny Cushing at the Principal Registry of London’s High Court’s Family Division said that the marriage would be dissolved within the next six weeks after it had “broken down irretrievably”.

The 46-year-old actress revealed that she and Arun had broken up last December after pictures were brought to light showing her kissing cricketer Shane Warne at a London hotel.

She tweeted: “Not a great day. For the record, my husband Arun & I separated a few months ago. Our close family & friends were aware of this.”

She added: “Painful, sad days. Arun & I separated for private reasons but FTR he has been a great father to our son Damian & will always be in his life.”

Since then, Hurley and Warne have enjoyed an on-off relationship. Meanwhile, Arun is now dating 25-year-old model Kim Johnson.
