The Chicago resident, known as Shawn, was spotted on US programme Sex Sent Me To The E.R.
Shawn complained of serious pain in his downstairs area, and was initially unwilling to reveal why he was having trouble urinating.
However, when faced with having a catheter inserted, he came clean – and admitted that during some outdoors nookie with his wife, a legless lizard had crawled up his leg – and then slithered inside his member.
The creature was removed, and Shawn admitted that the feeling of having it taken out was pleasurable in itself.
The legless lizard declined to comment.
