This photo was taken at the Todra Gorge in Southern Morocco. I was taking photos of the river when all of a sudden out of the blue, this old man came down to the river and started praying. He walked over to the rocks that he is squatting on and then lowered his hands down to just above the water and then brought them up and over his head. He repeated this action a few times, and then after a while stood up and went back to his everyday chores.
