“You wouldn’t see Rooney%uFEFF and Stevie G doing that,” said one Youtube user.
The British women’s football team crashed out of the Olympics in the quarter-final after being thrashed by Canada.
“We didn’t get into our groove until we were two goals behind,” Team GB coach Hope Powell said at the time. “We were out-muscled at times, we got stronger towards the end but it wasn’t enough. Canada played well. It looked like we might have had a penalty at the end but it didn’t go out way. That’s life.”
