Urban foraging
We are somewhat dislocated from our food these days, accustomed to picking it off the shelf wrapped in plastic. This one-off event aims to rebuild those connections, though, taking participants out into the urban wilds to forage for ingredients such as wild garlic, chickweed and elderflower, before returning to the Camberwell pub where, along with the assistance of hunter-gatherer-author Nick Wesaton (above), they’re made in to
a gourmet three-course meal. A great big eco-friendly ‘yum’.
