East London’s cute boutique hotel 40 Winks, famed for offering a distinguished and different night’s sleep, hosts these specially themed storytelling events, led by professional storytellers and accompanied by musicians and actors. Pyjamas and nightgowns are a mandatory dress code. This month’s two evenings of ‘Tales of Bewitchment’ feature Xanthe Gresham and Debs Newbold. Nibbles and a nightcap cocktail enhance an experience where you’re sure to have some sweet dreams.

Late Night Gimp Fight

Anonymous, Untitled… 

This exhibition, with a daily changing title, aims to ‘disrupt the safe environment of the art gallery’. Artists Eva and Franco Mattes do this with a dazzling array of images and performances, including a simulated webcam suicide, fake sculptures by famous artists, and an assortment of images stolen from random PCs. Take that, Hirst!
