Over 500,000 people have already expressed an interest in using .London for their websites, and applications will be considered over the next three months before everyone can apply to get a little extra bit of London in their life.
However, it won’t be cheap – according to the BBC website, this domain name could cost £50 per year.
Some businesses, such as Fortnum and Mason, have been so keen to implement the .London domain name their pages are already up and running.
