There will be a tube strike from Sunday night as London underground workers walk out for 24 hours.

The strike comes after a compromise over job losses filed to be reached. The Rail Maritime and Transport union (RMT) and the Transport Salaried Staff Association (TSSA) said their members will walk out for 24 hours from 6.30pm on Sunday.

Thousands of London commuters who take the tube to work will be affected by the strike on Monday.

It’s the fourth 24-hour tube strike in recent weeks in a row over 800 job losses in ticket offices.

Talks at the conciliation service Acas ended last night without a deal being made on job losses.

That’ll be a ncie start to the week then.
