Flip Out is a huge arena of multi levelled interconnected trampolines, where you can spring, trick or flip off the walls on the largest trampolines in the UK. For those daredevils wanting to improve their free running skills, Flip Out London boasts several brand new pieces of apparatus that haven’t been seen in Europe before. Pin Ball is a giant pinball inspired vertical challenge and in a hybrid of free running and trampolining, Flip Street is a multi-level area inspired by skate parks with platforms, boxes, jumps and diagonals that will challenge and excite even the most seasoned professionals.
Free runner and Flip Out ambassador Chima Akenzua says: “It’s a completely unique space that aids creativity. The different terrain helps unlock your imagination.”
Professional free runner Brad Wendes adds: “It’s not like any other trampoline park I’ve seen. With areas like Pin Ball and Flip Street plus the wall running set up you can train differently, learn new skills and overcome new obstacles.”
Flip Out Wandsworth also features wall running, an enormous half pipe, slam-dunk basketball area and the UKs biggest foam pit stuffed with 38,000 foam blocks so you can jump, somersault and launch yourself off one of the three diving boards and tightrope with abandon.
The atmosphere inside is like nothing else. The walls are adorned with 160 metres of continual graffiti designed by renowned London graffiti artist Tizer and his crew. A London taxi sits in the epicentre serving as a DJ booth (complete with full decks) and the whole arena has been given a state of the art sound and lighting system so you really are transported to another world once you enter the inner sanctum.
Jon Inwards, Director of Flip Out UK comments: “We want people to have the best hour of their lives when they enter the park and we’ve done all we can to ensure they’re transported into another world once inside. It’s all about getting kids off their computers and phones and getting them into a healthy environment where they can enjoy themselves and learn a new discipline. Shake off their stresses and literally bounce off the walls having fun and getting fit.”
“With our brand new area for advanced jumpers, Flip Street, we also see this as a chance to help develop London’s free runners and trampoline gymnasts of the future.”
