A brand new music event will hit Shoreditch Park in July. Unsigned London will present a free two day event showcasing the best of London’s up and coming music talent.
London has been enticing music fans for generations, but in recent years venue closures and overpriced gig and festival tickets have made it near on impossible to locate a free gig. Motivated by these challenges, Unsigned London aims to revitalise London’s undiscovered talents.
“There simply is too much unsupported live music talent out there, who collectively are ignored by parts of the media industry and consumers alike. So for us, Unsigned London, brings the authenticity back to the music industry,” said organiser Bayo Alaba.
The event 4th and 5th July 2015 takes place across four stages, with over 150 of the city’s newest talents in indie, rock, jazz, folk, R&B, and reggae, classical and electronic genres.
As well as the wide ranging music line-up, the event will feature TogetherTheyCome (TTC) fashion market programmers full of creative new designer brands and some of London’s finest street food traders (Camden meets Borough Market).
There will also be a record fair selling a mix of musical genres by national and international dealers of quality vinyl, CDs and music memorabilia.
Make contact with TTC if you’re a budding designer or vinyl collector. At time of writing TTC are looking for more designers, vinyl sellers and other creatives to sell their products to the young and diverse crowd expected.
