Located on Lower Marsh in SE1, just behind Waterloo Station, and open every Saturday between 10am-3pm, the new food market will see an exciting variety of stalls selling speciality ingredients and fresh produce.

Visitors to the weekly market can expect to be tempted by a variety of produce, including salads and garden veg, fresh shellfish, artisan meats, organic cheeses, preserves and sweet treats, including cakes and pastries.

Speaking about the new market, market manager Emily Reed said: “This is a market of good honest food. Our producers can’t be here all week because they’re too busy growing, curing, planting, baking, pressing, sourcing and farming! We’ve got plenty of ‘London-food names’ taking part like Konditor & Cook, and two of the businesses that gave Brixton village its reputation as a food hot spot: Cornercopia and Cannon & Cannon.”
