Yep, straighteners – according to the Telegraph at least.
The terminal building was evacuated at about 2pm yesterday after a ‘suspect package’ was found at a security check and Bedfordshire Police carried out a controlled explosion at around 5pm. The airport reopened shortly afterwards.
Dozens of flights were cancelled or diverted, affecting some 2,000 passengers.
