The poor creature, nicknamed King Julien after the character in the animated movie Madagscar, was admitted to hospital with hypothermia on Tueday evening.
He had collapsed in the sub-zero temperatures and was also diagnosed with severe dehydration and shock by staff at the Blue Cross animal hospital in Victoria, London.
Little King Julien was put on a drip and placedisolation unit for close monitoring.
He wasn’t in the mood for eating but nurses managed to coax him into taking some drops of honey. He gradually started eating bits of banana and grapes.
King Julien is now on the road to recovery and strong enough to leave the hospital. He will now be transferred to the Specialist Wildlife Services who will try to rehome him.
Hopefully, they’ll let TNT adopt him. We need a new mascot here.
