A German father has defended his actions after using a bredknife to cut off the testicles of his teenage daughter’s 57-year-old boyfriend.
Helmut Seifert will stand trial for attempted murder of Phillip Genscher, who was dating Seifert’s
17-year-old daughter.
German police said Genscher was attacked by the angry father and two of Seifert’s mates who forced to remove his pants before the mutilation took place. Seifert then took the severed testicles taken away and disposed of them.
Seifert, originally from Russia, decided to engage
in the vigilante castration after police in the German town of
Bielefeld told him they could not stop the couple from meeting.
CBS reported he told police, “You said you couldn’t stop him – so I did. I saw it as my duty as a father.”
He has pled guilty to the
charges, but refuses to name his helpers. He will be charged with
attempted murder next year.
