A man has been shot dead in South London in what is believed to be a gangland shooting.
The victim, aged in his late teens or early twenties, died at the scene near Purser House in Tulse Hill on Monday night, the third fatal shooting in South London in two weeks.
The fatal shots were fired from a car which then sped away, according to witnesses.
Detectives are now hunting the gunman and they are investigating whether the incident was a gangland killing.
A police spokesman said: “Officers found a male, aged approximately late teens or early 20s, suffering suspected gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Next of kin are being informed.
“Inquiries by Lambeth officers into the circumstances of the incident are ongoing and detectives from Trident have been informed.”
The man’s death is the third killing in South London in two days, following the death of Alper Pasha, 43, who was attacked outside KFC in Coldharbour Lane, Brixton, and Sadiq Adebiyi, 25, was shot in Stockwell.
