The unnamed man was shocked that after he found a pregnancy test in his medicine cabinet and, as you do, decided to pee on it, it came back positive.
He told a mate who, again as you do, posted the story in the form of a rage comic on Reddit.
Redditors (people who use Reddit) had his back straight away and 1300 comments were posted in three days.
“You may have testicular cancer! Get to an oncologist, tell them you took a pregnancy test and it came out positive,” one wrote.
Another said: “If this is true, you should check yourself for testicular cancer. Seriously. Google it.”
They were right – pregnancy tests measure for beta human chorionic gonadotropin, a sign of not just possible pregnancy but also testicular cancer.
When the man was told, he went to a doctor and a small lump was found on his right testicle.
Another comic on Reddit relayed the update and thanked the web community for its help.
