The bulky figure was noticed by airport security at China’s Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport when he struggled to pass through the security gate and then set the alarm off, reports the New Zealand Herald.

He was taken for a strip search, which turned out to take longer than anticipated, as the man had so many layers on, including nine pairs of jeans.

 Items including batteries, USB sticks, toys and other items were found in his pockets.

The passenger explained that he had simply been trying to avoid paying excees luggage fees so was wearing everything he had left over.
