The anonymous accuser released a statement through his lawyers, saying the relationship was actually consensual and after he turned 18, which Clash had said from the outset.
“[The anonymous accuser] wants it to be known that his sexual relationship with Mr. Clash was an adult consensual relationship. He will have no further comment on the matter,” the statement published by New York Times read.
Clash had his own statement: “I am relieved that this painful allegation has been put to rest. I will not discuss it further.”
