Anthony Stallard had been out drinking when he went into a cemetery and was seen kicking a football at graves before making ‘ghostly noises’, Portsmouth News Reported.
The unemployed 24-year-old was arrested and charged with using threatening or abusive words or behaviour likely to cause distress.
Prosecuting at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court, Tim Concannon said: ‘While the football was going on they were shouting and this defendant was effectively singing loudly and being disrespectful in among the graves.
‘He was throwing himself backwards, waving his arms about and going “wooooooo”. I’m assuming he was pretending to be a ghost.’
Mr Stallard is now an internet celebrity for the wrong reasons. What a f-ghoul (fool… get it?).
