The wall collapsed on Swanston Street in central Melbourne, injuring and killing passing pedestrians.
An eyewitness at a nearby cafe “saw the wall crumble like breadcrumbs from the top down, and fall on a group of people”.
Marie-Faith Fiawoo, 33, is the third victim of the tragic accident. Her identity was confirmed today by the French Consulate in Melbourne.
The first two victims were named as teenage brother and sister Bridget Jones, 18, Alexander Jones, 19.
Fiawoo worked as a research assistant at Monash University, an institution which specialises in medical research.
The wall was a heritage-listed part of a former brewery in the Carlton area of the city. High winds are thought to have led to the collapse of the historic wall.
