A memorial to Michael Jackson will be unveiled at London’s Lyric Theatre on June 24 – the eve of the first anniversary of the singer’s death.

The theatre, which is currently home to Jacko tribute show Thriller! Live, will uncover a plaque commemorating the King of Pop at a memorial ceremony, reported the BBC.

Jacko’s kids to attend school

Meanwhile, Michael’s three sprogs Prince, Paris and Blanket will attend school for the first time in September – so they can make friends.

The King of Pop’s mum, Katherine stated: “They don’t have any friends. They don’t go to school, they have private lessons at home – but that will change in September, when they are due to enrol at private college.”

King of Pop’s estate generates $1 billion since his death

When he died last June, Michael Jackson was reportedly deeply in debt. This was the reason the troubled singer had signed up for a 50-date run at the O2 arena in London, as a means of turning his financial fortunes around.

However, with nostalgia buying at an all time high since his death, his estate has generated nearly $1 billion in the past year.
