Mila Kunis has backed out of a date with Marine Sgt. Scott Moore to the Marine Corps Ball in North Carolina on November 18. However, it seems that Justin Timberlake has now been asked in her place.
Moore, a Marine based in Afghanistan, made a Youtube video asking Kunis to be his date to the ball.
Friends With Benefits star Kunis was railroaded into saying yes by her co-star Justin Timberlake when the pair were shown Moore’s video during a TV interview.
However Kunis has now backtracked on her promise to “do it for her country”, citing a busy schedule.
Moore is bound to be disappointed. After getting the news that Kunis has accepted his Youtube invitation, the Marine gave this – actually weirdly subdued – statement to Fox:
"It's going to be a great experience to meet her, and it's going to make the ball more special for everyone.”
According to reports, Kunis will be in production for her next film in November, which will clash with the Marine Corps ball. Very sad indeed for her.
Timberlake now finds himself in the firing line after Corporal Kelsey De Santis posted a YouTube video asking the star to be her date to a ball in Washington DC.
Santis ends by saying to Timberlake: “And if you can’t go, all I have to say if ‘Cry me a river’”.

Like the way she’s got a row of scary looking geezers in the background of the video.
