During their search, Police came across a rather large reticulated python whom they suspected had swallowed the man.
The man, Akbar, had been missing for 24 hours after heading off to the family palm oil plantation. Although humans are rarely killed by pythons suspicions fell on the massive snake after being spotted, unmoving in a ditch near to where Akbar would have been.
Police cut the snake open and unfortunately, their suspicions were correct.
