Luis Briones collided with another car after running a red light on Albuquerque Street, the impact ejecting Natasha Carroll from the SUV, reported news.com.au.
Briones then got back into his car in an attempt to flee the scene, leaving bloodied Carroll on the street, however when a witness confiscated his keys Briones ‘jumped into a bush, landing and attempting to hide in a cactus’.
A 911 call was received prior to the accident reporting that Briones was observed to be ‘having sexual intercourse with the passenger while driving at a high rate of speed’.
Police reported that Briones ‘reeked of booze and was extremely belligerent post-arrest’. He allegedly ‘spit on officers, threatened them and refused to keep his pants on’.
Carroll, who was completely naked, was taken to hospital with facial lacerations but reported as in a stable condition.
