Massey, 64, who was jailed for life in 1975 for murdering a bouncer at an east end club, is said to be a “potentially dangerous” man by the authorities. The public have been warned to stay away from him should they see him.
“At approximately 6.30pm on Wednesday 27 June a prisoner was found to be missing from HMP Pentonville,’ a Prison Service Spokesperson said.
“Police were immediately informed and the matter will be the subject of a thorough investigation.”
