The buzz so far Low-fi electronica, indie jingle jangle, scruffed up MBV-esque fuzz guitars and feedback, and grungy, punky spirit in there too – Wolf Alice have drawn their influences from far and wide. And yet it works: stunningly so.

The north London quartet have been catching the ear since their debut single Fluffy in February, and have newbie Bros up their sleeves to hit ahead of fest season this summer. One to highlight on your beer-soaked lanyard, for sure!

The Critics say “Fluffy is everything you want in a good guitar-pop track” Samantha Sadler, neverenoughnotes.co.uk

The plug Bros is out May 20 through Chess Club Records.

They play The Lexington. June 4. £7.50
