Stuart Broad’s team added to their Ashes whitewash disappointment with a 45-run defeat against the Dutch in Chittagong.
Both sides were playing for nothing but pride but the men in orange will be the ones going home with a spring in their step.
The Netherlands got off to a strong start with the bat with 84 runs from their first 11 overs, and with nine wickets in hand, but tight bowling from Ravi Bopara (1-15) kept them to 133-5.
England’s reply was dismal to say the least with them all out for 88 including just four boundaries.
Bopara was the best of the bad bunch with 18. Ouch.
