The ‘True Love Tester’, as its Japanese makers have dubbed it, has a sensor hooked up to a mobile phone which analyses the wearer’s heartbeat to determine if she is truly in love.
If the sensor detects that her feelings are for real, the clasp undoes. And if the woman is not in love – well, no one is getting lucky tonight.
The makers, lingerie brand Ravijour, explained: “We wanted to do something that wouldn’t just appeal to people who wear our products, but also to lift the romantic mood between men and women.”
Is that so? Well, the bra isn’t actually for sale yet, so no one should, er, be getting their knickers in a twist.
