A chic new uniform for London underground looks like it might attract a few wolf whistles from the capital’s commuters after it was introduced last week in a bid to improve customer service.
The uniform, courtesy of the fashion house Hemingway Design, was trialled last November but has now gone mainstream to make staff more recognisable, says tube operator Transport for London.
The uniforms, which staff helped to design, feature various mix and match options including specific versions for female staff.
The famous TfLlogo – said to be among the ten most recognised in the world features on pockets and jacket cuffs as well as on the back on the uniform. It even appears on small zip pulls.
