It was inevitable – Newtown is a world apart from the rest of Australia and in honour of the festival, organisers saw fit to declare the suburb its own micronation. A warm welcome to the Republic of Newtown!
Over 80,000 punters are drawn in each year by the likes of the Writers’ Tent, Festival Dog Show, Live Art Hub and Eco Oasis – as well as more to come this year.
