Brazilian striker Neymar has hinted he may join Chelsea this summer, after describing the speculated transfer as “a dream move”.
Neymar, who has been linked with the Blues and Manchester City for the last 12 months, scored both Brazil goals as they beat Craig Levein’s Scotland side 2-0 at Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium on Sunday.
And the Santos forward revealed for the first time that talks have already taken place with Chelsea, but both parties agreed last summer to give him another year in South America before looking to move to Europe.
“Chelsea’s a great club. It’s a dream of every player to play at Chelsea,” he said.
“I will be very happy to come.
“We are going to sit with my family. We are going to think about it and discuss the options.
“Last year, when Chelsea came, we sat together and we thought it wasn’t the time yet.
“If it happens this year, we are going to sit again and going to discuss it.”
One of three current Brazil stars at Stamford Bridge, new signing David Luiz, has already urged his international teammate to join him in west London.
Luiz, who signed from Benfica in a £25m move in January, said: “I am very happy, because I’m at one of the best teams in the world.
“I would love it if Neymar came to Chelsea. He is going to be one of the best players in the world.”
