That’s right – and no, your eyes aren’t deceiving you – a North Korea travel app has gone on sale on iTunes and Google play.
As amazing as that might seem, the country that is shrouded in mystery and largely off limits to foreigners, is now plugging itself as a tourism destination – well almost.
The app has been created by UK-based Uniquely Travel and allows users to explore and plan trips to the secretive nation.
The app is not official by any stretch of the imagination but is a first of its kind and includes thousands of original photographs, information on the country’s attractions and a phrase book as well as handy tips on how to plan and book your stay.
If you’re bored of Thailand, Vietnam or Laos and fancy something a bit different, and potentially dangerous, visit the Travel North Korea app website.
We don’t think you have to have a special haircut to travel. Yet.
