Police tailed an image-conscious motorist preening himself for three miles on the M5 before he eventually pulled over on junction 5 of the motorway.
According to the Mirror, the Hereforshire resident can expect some points on his license and a large fine when he attends court on a careless driving charge.
Sgt Paul Hardy, motorway police supervisor with West Midlands Police, said: “This is right up there with examples of careless driving we regularly see, including people eating, doing their make up or rummaging through glove boxes.”
We bet the driver’s bristling with indignation – any soft soaping definitely didn’t cut it with the police!
