Getting there
Air Berlin flies to Nuremberg from London Stansted. The city’s airport is just 15 minutes from the town centre by U-Bahn (Underground).
Getting around
It’s a city of only half a million people, but Nuremberg has its own underground (U-Bahn), a tram network and buses, so getting around is simple.
A two-day Nuremberg pass (€19) gives you free public transport and access to most of the city’s museums.
The no.36 tourist bus stops at all the major sights and museums, winding up at the Rally Grounds (about 20 minutes from the city centre).
The old town and the shopping district are small enough to explore on foot.
