“I have a heavier song that Marilyn Manson’s on called Bad Girl,” the Canadian former Sk84 girl told Billboard of her collaboration with the notorious and controversial rocker on her new album which is due for release later this year.
“And then I’ve got a song called Hello Kitty that sounds like nothing I’ve done before.”
The new album, as this unlikely partnership shows, is “really diverse”, according to Lavigne.
“We’ve got these pop-rock tunes, and then these piano ballads with orchestras.”
Lavigne has flitted in and out of the public’s eye since she burst on the scene with the annoyingly catchy Complicated and Sk8er Boi in 2002.
She is currently engaged to Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger.
