Police in Sallisaw, Oklahoma claim that 22-year old, mother of two Misty VanHorn tried to find a buyer for her children on the social media site Facebook.
VanHorn was apparently asking for $1,000 for her two year old, or $4,000 for the toddler and her ten month old baby.
When one lady took an interest via private message, VanHorn responded; “Just come to Sallisaw, it’s only 30 minutes away and I’ll give you all of her stuff and let y’all have her forever for $1,000”.
The unidentified potential buyer, from across the border subsequently notified the authorities who arrested VanHorn yesterday.
Under police questioning, neighbours on VanHorn’s street said that the woman had been going from door to door in recent weeks trying to beg $1,000 bail money for her boyfriend.
VanHorn is now herself being held in Sequoyah County Prison on a $40,000 bond and her children have been taken under wardship by the state.
Ironic isn’t it, that the bond Misty now needs to get herself out of prison is 40 times that of her presumably deadbeat boyfriend. Even more ironic is that she is in this position because she couldn’t afford to pay his bond in the first place without nefarious kiddy spruiking on the interwebs.
I think the chances of someone finding $40,000 to bail Misty’s saggy arse out of jail is smaller than the points of her IQ.
At least now Misty and her boyfriend have been all but reunited… Sure they might be in different wings but at least they’re in the same prison facility.
