Like getting busted urinating in the bushes near the Walkabout, going to the Open Air Theatre in Regent’s Park is one of those things you have to tick off your London list.

As the name suggests, it’s theatre in the, er, open air.

In fact, the setting is sublime.

Among the trees and rose bushes of the Inner Circle, actors recreate famous plays in a natural amphitheatre as the summer sunlight slowly fades.

The venue seats 1240, but feels so intimate you’d swear capacity was only a hundred or so.

Come early and hook into the tasty nosh and booze on sale in the grounds, or bring your own for a picnic on the grass.

Just rug up, cos even in summer it can get chilly.

Oh, and don’t get busted taking a leak in the bushes. trevor paddenburg
