Getting there
There are regular bus services to Pärnu from both the Estonian capital Tallinn 130 km to the north or the Latvian capital Riga 190 km to the south. The bus station is conveniently situated next to the Pärnu Hotel.
A daily train service also operates between Pärnu and Tallinn, but the train station is well outside of town.
Getting around
Several taxi services operate in and around Pärnu, but once in town it is easy to walk as the town centre is not large and close to the beach and coastal resorts.
The Parnu airfield is open to charter flights while a shipping line connects Parnu with Kihnu Island to the south-west in the Gulf of Riga.
