A giant Pippa Middleton made out of crumpets has been created.
Some restaurants choose a hefty ad campaign to publicise themselves, but Beefeater Grill clearly decided their breakfast menu would be better promoted by the enormous version of Pippa Middleton.
But it’s not just any giant version of Pippa Middleton. This one is made out of crumpets. 15,000 of them, to be exact.
The work of culinary art was created by food artist Laura Hadland and it took her and a team of 15 people 24 hours to create.
One hundred jars of spread were used to define Pippa’s hair and features, including butter, jam and Marmite.

The Pippa Middleton crumpet mosaic – half showing her face and the other, her famous bottom – reached an immense 13 by 20 metres. In total, the crumpets weighed over a ton.
Hadland recreated the shot, based on a photo taken at the royal wedding after Pippa topped a poll by Beefeater Grill to find the female celebrity Brits would most want to “wake up to breakfast with”.
David Murdin from Beefeater Grill told The Sun: “It’s no surprise that someone as striking as Pippa has been ranked as the country’s top bit of crumpet.”
Fearne Cotton came second, followed by Cheryl Cole, and the women the public would least like to wake up to breakfast with were Katie Price, Kate Moss and Made in Chelsea’s Caggie Dunlop.
