A furniture dealer (Catherine Keener), who buys items from the children of dead pensioners, clashes with tenants in her apartment block in Nicole Holofcener’s dark comedy.

A top cast (including Amanda Peet and Rebecca Hall) combines with a well-observed script in this top indie flick.

GOOD FOR: Those who like brains with their belly laughs.
