WHAT: This three-day festival is designed to bring the upper-class fare of polo to the people. The rules have been simplified to accommodate the uninitiated, in the hope of winning converts to this ambitious summer event.
WHEN: June 4-6.
DO IT BECAUSE: It’s a very British pastime and it’s a fun way to spend an afternoon. If you get tired of the horses, there are stalls and bars to keep you interested, along with plenty of posh Poms to snigger at.
