Perry was brought up in a devoutly religious house and both of her parents are pastors, who are none too pleased with her girl-kissing career choice.
Her father though, dismayed with Katy’s choice of profession, and the legions of fans who flock to her shows to worship her rather the good lord, has reportedly spoken out about it a church in Sante Fe, California, The Sun reports.
“They ask how can I preach id I produce a girl who sang about kissing another girl?” Keith Perry has said in one of his talks on a current star speaker tour he and his wife are engaged in.
It beggars belief what they must have thought of Perry’s former hubby Russell Brand.
