Beatie features in an upcoming episode of the medical talk show The Doctors, in which he reveals that he is currently separated from his wife of nine years Nancy.
“Like all marriages, we have our ups and downs,” he says. “We’re going through a rough patch right now. At the moment we are separated.”
Beatie was born a woman, Tracy Lagondino, but always felt like a ma, which he became legally in 2002.
He underwent a masectomy but kept his female sex organs that allowed him to carry a child. He gave birth to his and Nancy’s three children.
