A Premier League footballer has reportedly found himself at the centre of a blackmail scam after he was filmed on a mobile phone during an orgy with three Swedish blondes in a Las Vegas hotel room.
According to the Daily Mail, the player is in his 20s and plays for a team currently in the top half of the League.
Police are investigating the player’s claim that film and photographs taken during the Vegas romp have since been used as blackmail material.
The Premier League star is understood to have had sex with a 25-year-old waitress while two of his friends had sex with her friends. Pictures taken of the orgy on a BlackBerry are said to include snaps of the football star wearing only a condom.
A source told The Sun: “We are trying to trace the person behind the email address, though he or she tried to hide their identity.”
“We’re keeping an open mind on whether the person making the demands was one of the girls or a third party unconnected with what went on in the hotel.”
