The red-headed royal was on the phone with his friend Thomas van Straubenzee at the very moment that van Straubenzee had his BlackBerry stolen.
Harry heard a scuffle over the phone line and rushed to the scene with his protection officer.
The prince circled the streets of Battersea in his car but, when he couldn’t see his friend, drove to the nearest police station where he found van Straubenzee reporting the crime.
Harry gave a police statement and is now part of an ongoing investigation, the Daily Mail reports.
Wandsworth Police revealed that they have arrested a man in connection with the robbery and recovered the stolen phone.
Perhaps Harry’s ‘heroics’ prompted the rumoured rekindling of his romance with lingerie model Florence Brudenell-Bruce.
According to gossip columns, the 27-year-old prince and 25-year-old model had a short fling earlier this year.
And now Made In Chelsea star Spencer Matthews is adding fuel to the fire by claiming that Florence and the prince are still seeing each other.
“I know Flee quite well and from what I’ve heard there’s still something going on,” Matthews apparently told the Daily Mail.
“She and Harry have enjoyed a few nights in together with a DVD on the sofa – stuff we all do.”
Well if Spencer Matthews is saying it, it must be true.
