According to BBC royal correspondent Peter Hunt, the break-up was said to be ‘amicable’.
Hunt said the Prince was keen to make it clear the relationship didn’t end because he found Cressida too needy.
Speculation had been mounting that Harry was planning on popping the question since the pair had been seen attending their first official engagement together in March.
Sadly, hopes have now dashed as the pair have gone their separate ways, but apparently remain the best of friends.
