Prince William has chosen Prince Harry as his best man and Kate Middleton’s sister Philippa will be her maid of honour at the royal wedding, it has been announced.
Bridesmaids will include seven-year-old Lady Louise Windsor, daughter of the Earl and Countess of Wessex while one of the two page boys will be 10-year-old William Lowther-Pinkerton, the son of Prince William’s private secretary.
Among those for whom the royal wedding is more than just a free day off work (know any of these people?), speculation has been mounting over who will be Prince William’s best man.

Today Clarence House put people’s fevered minds to rest with the news that Prince Harry will, indeed, have the honour.
Kate Middleton is planning to tighten the royal belt for her April wedding – taking into account the downward state of the economy in the UK – and will be arriving to Westminster Abbey in a car instead of the usual glass coach, saving that for her journey to the reception Buckingham Palace.
As many as one million people are expected to line the streets of London hoping to catch a glimpse of the wedding which is to be held on April 29th.
Personally, we’ll be going to the pub!
