Governor-General Anand Satyanand will meet Princess Anne on Friday in Christchurch, during her visit to New Zealand.

Satyanand and his wife, Susan, leave for the South Island on Thursday to begin a four-day visit to Christchurch and Dunedin.

During their visit they will attend a number of events in both cities, including the opening of the Canterbury Plunket Centre, the Royal New Zealand Show in Christchurch, and will present Duke of Edinburgh Gold Awards and Queen’s Scout Awards at a ceremony hosted by the Young New Zealander’s Challenge in Dunedin.
