With the launch of 1920s drama Boardwalk Empire – billed as the new Mad Men – imminent, the era of dandies and dancing the Charleston has never been cooler.

In than vein, since it’s launch in 2008, Prohibition has become one of the most popular parties in London with its claim of being the “choice for those who seek a night of unbridled decadence, 1920s hedonism, and drinking cocktails out of teacups.”

The next Prohibition night is on Saturday February 12 and you can expect to see dandies surreptitiously quaff bootlegged booze at gambling tables while bobbed-cut good time girls dance the Charleston in the chichi surroundings of West London’s Victoria House in Bloomsbury Square.

Don’t forget to get your 20s clobber on though – jeans and t-shirt not OK!
